What photo formats and sizes are supported?
JPG, PNG, and WebP up to 25 MB. We recommend uploading the highest-quality version of your photo for the best results — screenshots from heavily compressed TikTok videos will have lower starting quality.
How long does processing take?
AI color correction takes approximately 15 seconds per photo. You’ll see a live processing indicator while the AI analyzes and corrects your image.
What types of photos work best?
Portrait photos (photos of people) consistently produce the strongest improvement because the AI is optimized to restore natural skin warmth and tone. Landscapes, still-life, and other scene types are also supported and generally show good color correction, but portraits benefit the most from skin-tone-aware processing.

Yes! You get 5 free credits on sign-up, enough for one full AI color correction process. No credit card required. After that, affordable credit packs start at $4.99, or you can subscribe to a Pro plan for more credits per month.
What happens when my credits run out?
You can purchase additional credit packs or upgrade to a Pro subscription. Your existing photos are unaffected — only new AI processing requires credits. View pricing options →
Do unused credits expire?
Credit pack credits (Starter, Standard) never expire. Pro subscription credits refresh monthly — unused monthly credits do not roll over.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime?
Yes. Cancel from your account settings at any time. Your Pro benefits continue until the end of the current billing period, and remaining credits stay available until then.
What is the refund policy?
We offer a 7-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied, you may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of purchase, provided you have used fewer than 5 credits from the purchased package or subscription. Privacy & Security
What happens to your photos and data.
Are my photos uploaded to a server?
Yes. Your photo is uploaded securely via HTTPS to our servers for AI processing. The image is then forwarded to the Volcengine Seedream API for color correction. Both the original and processed images are automatically deleted within 24 hours. Read our full Privacy Policy for details.
Are my photos used for AI training?
No. Your photos are never used to train AI models or for any purpose other than processing your individual request. Once processing is complete and the 24-hour deletion window passes, your images are permanently gone from our systems.
Who has access to my uploaded photos?
Your images are transmitted via encrypted HTTPS to our infrastructure (Cloudflare) and then to the Volcengine Seedream API for AI color correction. No human reviews your photos as part of normal processing. Images are not shared with any other third parties. All images are deleted within 24 hours. Do I need an account to use the tool?
Yes, you need an account to process photos. Sign-up is free with Google OAuth — no password to remember. Every new account gets 5 free credits to try the tool. You can view your processing history and manage credits from your account at any time.
What content is prohibited?
Matcha Filter Remover is a color correction tool only. You may not upload sexually explicit content, nudity, images intended to reveal or reconstruct content beneath clothing, images of minors in exploitative contexts, or content that violates applicable law or third-party rights. We reserve the right to refuse processing and terminate accounts that violate our Acceptable Use Policy.
